Apricot seeds have similar properties as same as almonds. These contains abundant protein and are rich in healthy fatty acids such as Omega-3s and Omega-6s. These essential fatty acids helps in lowering bad cholesterol, improve mental health and fight heart disease. They are also packed with carbohydrates and fibre. Some studies shows that they contribute to killing cancer cells.
Consumption of apricot seeds in high amount is not recommended as it can cause nausea and vomiting. The recommended amount is 6 to 10 seeds per day.
