5 Non-Toxic Ways To Spring Clean Your Home!
1.To freshen mattresses and upholstered furniture:
Mix some baking soda with few drops of a favourite essential oil (lavender for sweet dreams, tea tree oil against bugs). Sprinkle the mixture onto your mattress or sofa and leave it for an hour minimum before vacuuming.
2. To get back your cookware as new one:
Mix sea salt or coarse salt with a little lemon juice and scrub.
For copper bottle, just sprinkle fine salt onto a lemon cut in two and gently rub over your copper bottle.
3. To clean your microwave:
Combine 2 cups of water with ¼ cup of lemon juice in a microwave-safe glass dish. Heat the solution at high for eight minutes. The steam from the solution will loosen crusty food particles on the interiors, making it easier to wipe off.
4. To polish wood surfaces:
Wipe a bit of pure olive oil all over with a clean cloth. For cleaning purpose mix ¼ cup of olive oil with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
