Aisbox pestos are made with fresh ingredients. To keep fresh, store your pesto when not in use in the freezer, and consume within three months. Once defrosted and partially used, level the top and seal it with a thin layer of extra virgin olive oil to keep fresh. It can keep in the refrigerator with its olive oil seal for approximately 2 weeks, or in the freezer for an additional 2 months.
Remove from chiller 30 minutes before use. If from frozen, 1 – 2 hours till it reaches room temperature will do. Do not heat in microwave, oven or stove-top. Add pesto little by little to pasta until well-coated.
